1. What is Design Thinking?
Design Thinking is a user-centered approach consisting of methods and tools that combine approaches from the fields of design and ethnography with knowledge about technology and the development of new business models. Above all, Design Thinking is a mindset for complex problem solving processes that include the search for and designing of future innovations. In an iterative procedure, latent and hidden user needs are identified in their day-to-day relations and matched with technical feasibility and economic viability. Another central element of Design Thinking is the multidisciplinary, team-based approach. In this way, Design Thinking doesn’t only foster individual creativity but, more importantly, a collaborative innovation culture fed by the varying expertise and perspectives of the team members, who are able to search for possible solutions with an open mind due to their backgrounds in other subjects.

3. Design Thinking Teaser
The Design Thinking Teaser is an introductory experience in Design Thinking concept, a human-centered approach to innovation. During the Design Thinking Teaser session, each participant will be taken through a full design cycle in a fast-paced project of which no previous design experience is required. Through this experience, we hope you and your team will take away some of the basic principles of Design Thinking and start to adapt them into your routine.
